At the Adventure Time/ Steven Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, an extended version of the song's lyrics was released in a video featuring a young Steven singing (reusing audio of a younger Zach Callison performing the song in the pilot), as well as the other Crystal Gems.

Starting with 'Sworn to the Sword', a re-orchestrated version of the song was created the song contains drums, the scenes are different to be more fitting with the changes and the Gems are in their post-regeneration forms.

The melody of this song has been quoted in several other tracks, such as ' Steven's Shield', ' Dad Museum', ' Fight, Flight, or Love', and ' Decisive Path'.
